With 2022 bringing on a new start & finish line, it’s time to put your training to the test at the Fisocrem 10K run around Melbourne’s city streets. Whether you’re looking for a challenge, racing a PB or completing your first 10K, this fast & flat course is open to anyone.

    Race pack collection begins from Sole Motive Store (Melb CBD or Hawthorn store), at 12 Midday.

    Must be 12 years old on race day.

    Wheelchair information

    Racing Wheelchair

    If you are a racing wheelchair please contact timing@solemotive.com to secure your spot. The racing wheelchair wave will start approximately 10 minutes before the official 10K event – at 8:45am.
    WHEELCHAIR ACCESS. Please be at the start line no later than 8:15am

    Run Melbourne accommodates wheelchairs in our event. If you’re not a Racing Wheelchair Athlete, please start at the back of the final wave in your event.

    Drink stations

    The 10K will pass 3 drink stations.  There will be Gatorade sports drinks available at drinks stations throughout the course.

    Please refer to your course map for drink station locations.

    Kilometre markers

    The kilometre markers for the 10K will be coloured GREEN.

    Start Line

    Please note, that all the information below relates to 10K participants:

    START LINE LOCATION: Batman Avenue

    RACE START TIME: 8:45am. We recommend you arrive at the event village at least 45-60mins before your race start times.

    8:45am Priority start, Wave A & B & Champion runners
    8:55am for Wave C & D runners


    WAVE A – Under 55 mins
    WAVE B – 56mins – 1 hour
    WAVE C – 1 hour, 1 min – 1 hour, 10 mins
    WAVE D – 1 hours, 10 mins +

    If you wish to run with friends or family who are starting in a different Wave Start Zone, you may start in a slower zone than that printed on your race number (e.g. someone with a B Zone label may start in B, C, or D) but not in a faster one (e.g. A).

    Please note: Wave Start Zones will be indicated by signs in place at the start line to ensure a smooth start for all participants. Entrants are asked to assemble in the appropriate zone as indicated by the letter printed on their race bib. A start line map will be available closer to the date.

    Course cut off times

    Start line closes 9:20am.

    Finish Line closes 12:30 pm.

    6km by 10:15am – Crossing Toorak Rd Faulkner Park (12mins per km pace).

    **If you feel you will not make the cut off, we recommend not to start in last wave.
