It’s time to get moving and join in the fun with our Runner’s World 5.5K run. With a new start and finish location, you’ll race past Melbourne’s famous landmarks. Take part alongside those participating in their first competitive run, those running with their fellow troops or those that prefer a shorter distance. There’s a spot for everyone.
*Note the distance is 5.5K. There will be a timing mat at 5K for your split time.

Race Bib Name Cut Off - May 29
Last day to enter to get your name on your race bib.
Postage Cut Off - July 7
Last day to enter to be able to have option to get race pack posted.

6:45am Half Marathon
8:45am Fisiocrem 10K
10:15am Runner's World 5.5K
Anyone under the age of 8 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
The racing wheelchair wave will start approximately 10 minutes before the official 5.5km event – at 10:05am. Please be at the start line no later than 9.45am.
Drink station is located approximately at 1.5km with Gatorade sports drinks and water.
Please refer to your course map for drink station locations.
The kilometre markers for the 5.5km event will be coloured Sky Blue.
Course Cut Off Times
Start line closes 10:45am
Finish Line closes 12:30 pm
START LINE LOCATION: Batman Avenue
RACE START TIME: 10:15am. We recommend you arrive at the event at least one hour before your race start time.
WAVE START ASSEMBLY TIMES:
10:00am for Priority start, Wave A, B and Champion Charity runners
10:15am for Wave C and D runners
PREDICTED FINISH TIMES PER WAVE ALLOCATION:
WAVE A – Under 32mins
WAVE B – 33mins – 40mins
WAVE C – 41mins – 50mins
WAVE D – 51mins +
If you wish to run with friends or family who are starting in a different Wave Start Zone, you may start in a slower zone than that printed on your race number (e.g. someone with a B Zone label may start in B, C, or D) but not in a faster one (e.g. A).
Please note: Wave Start Zones will be indicated by coloured feathers in place at the start line to ensure a smooth start for all participants. Entrants are asked to assemble in the appropriate zone as indicated by the letter printed on their race bib.
