UsherKids Australia is dedicated to supporting children and young people with Usher syndrome, a rare genetic condition that causes deafness and progressive vision loss. For families, the diagnosis can feel overwhelming and isolating, but they don’t have to face it alone.
We walk beside parents as they navigate this lifelong journey, helping them find the right supports, access expert care, and connect with others who truly understand. By bringing together families, clinicians, researchers, educators, and the wider community, we aim to create a future where children and young people with Usher syndrome love their lives.
Every step you take helps shine a light on Usher syndrome and supports children and families to live brighter, more connected lives.
