It’s the sixth time I’m pacing the race and it’s always a magical feeling helping other sachieve their goals, as other pacers have helped me in my running journey as well. Having run the half marathon distance or longer over 220 times, I look forward to doing it again, and for a great a cause.

Hi everyone! I’m Rory, and I am so excited to be the 1:35 pacer at this year’s Run Melbourne Half Marathon, which has always been my favourite run event on the Melbourne calendar every year. My aim is to help my fellow runners by setting a steady pace, providing plenty of help and encouragement along the way, and acting as a windbreak if anyone needs it. Feel free to say hi and have a chat to help shorten the k’s! Good luck with the remainder of your training and see you out on course!

I love being a part of the running community and helping runners achieve their goals. After pacing the 1:45 half marathon at Run Melbourne in 2025 and fresh off the 3:50 marathon at Ballarat Marathon in 2026, I’m excited to jump in to lead the 1:40 pace group this year.
My goal is simple: keep the pace steady, keep the vibes high, and help as many runners as possible have a great race day.

I started running just before Covid (2019) with Park Run. When lockdown hit I couldn’t go to the gym, I started running a lot more to stay sane and healthy. I signed up for my first half-marathon in December 2021. It was brutal! I went out too hard and just blew up badly. But valuable lesson learned. I wanted to get my Park Run times down but was stuck at around 21mins for a while, until I got a coach in 2023 and started training more seriously and smartly. I have had a few injuries over the years (including 2 stress fractures), which has led me to look at my diet (spoiler alert: I needed to eat a lot more!) and to doing triathlon, which is softer on the body, I’m now obsessed. I am doing my firsthalf-Ironman in Cairns shortly, running is my favourite and best leg of the three. I just love the feeling of running, especially when I am fit and running fast, and try never to take for granted that I can move my body and run long distances. I have my first marathon later this year which I am super excited about and would love to break 3 hours.

Chasing marathons around the world has been my road to humility, but it has also taught me that the best views are shared right here on home ground.
Pacing is a team effort where your energy fuels me just as much as I am here to anchor yours. Consider this a collaborative journey to run Melbourne together, helping each other to bring home our shared finish line goals.

Running it back for the 3rd year at Run Melbourne, I am your 1:45 half marathon pacer for 2026! Fresh off pacing the Ballarat Marathon in 3:50, I’m looking forward to taking you around Melbourne on July 19! Being able to pace gives me an opportunity to help runners achieve their goals and I can’t wait to see you all out there, bonus points if your friends or family come to watch you with their pets! Let’s keep a consistent pace over the whole distance and let’s Run Melbourne together.

I enjoy running events ranging from half marathons through to ultra-marathons. I’mpassionate about helping others achieve their goals on race day. As a pacer, I enjoy supporting runners to stay on target, break personal bests, and build confidence throughout the event. Bringing the energy and encouragement, I enjoy hyping up the runners around me and helping create a positive, motivating atmosphere from start to finish.

I started pacing races last year. I think, if I’m already running that distance and that pace on the weekend, then why not run it with a big group of people, have some fun together, and hopefully help some people achieve a PB? Running is a team sport and pacing is a privilege. I look forward to seeing you guys out there on July 19th!

I wanted to pace at Run Melbourne because I am very motivated to help other runners chase personal goals. Having run Melbourne Marathon and Run Melbourne multiple times, the pacers helped get me over the line – so I’m really excited at the opportunity to offer that service back!

I have been running since 2016 and have experience in road racing, triathlon and open water swimming. Pacing allows me to encourage others to reach their fitness goals and an opportunity to give back to the sport and community that has provided me so much joy. I look forward to meeting you all and good luck with your training leading up to the race!

I’m super excited to be pacing my fourth event, this time at Run Melbourne! I’ll be bringing every ounce of energy I’ve got (and a bit of glitter) to help everyone get across the finish line. Whether you’re chasing a PB or just want to run for vibes – can’t wait to see you on course!

Started running at the end of 2023, ran 7 marathons and and an Ultra since, running has helped me keep a clear mind and met the most amazing people in the world through this sport. So to give back, I’ve decided to pace and help other people get to their goal. For me, that is so much more rewarding than setting myself for a PB.

I am an experienced marathon runner and pacer who brings calm, steady support to race day. Having completed pacing more than 15HM and Marathon events, I understand the importance of consistency, patience and encouragement over long distances. My goal as a pacer is to help runners feel confident, stay on rhythm and enjoy the journey to the finish line.

I’ve been running and racing since I was a kid. Everything from 400m to the marathon and I train with the Richmond Harriers here in Melbourne. Running’s become insanely popular in the last few years but I like to say I got there before it was cool. I started pacing a couple of years ago with the Melbourne marathon and I loved it so much, I took on Sydney the year after and now, I’ll pace just about anything. I love nothing more than helping people achieve their running goals while soaking up the atmosphere of a big event. Looking forward to seeing you out there.

I’m returning to Run Melbourne 2026 in the 60-minute 10K group.
With experience pacing major events like the Melbourne Marathon, Carman’s Fun Run, and others, my goal is to keep you steady, motivated, and smiling all the way to the finish line.
I love giving back to our local running community, and I can’t wait to help you chase down your goals. Let’s gooo!

Hi, I’m Xueyi your 60-minute pacer for the 10km.
I love running and helping others reach their goals. If you’re chasing that one-hour finish, stick with me — we’ll keep it steady, keep it relaxed, and hopefully have a bit of fun along the way.

I’ve just successfully done the Great Ocean Road Full Marathon as a pacer. I see my role not only as keeping the correct pace but also as creating a positive and supportive environment where runners feel confident, motivated, and capable of achieving their goals. It shifts the focus from my own run to the collective journey…
