You can join the Run Melbourne Strava Club here.

    1. DOWNLOAD THE APP
Go to your device’s app store and download the Strava app (Google Play or App Store)
    2. CREATE YOUR ACCOUNT
You can choose to either sign up with Facebook, Google or your email.
    3. COMPLETE YOUR PROFILE
Strava will prompt you to immediately fill out some basic information for your profile. It’s
up to you how much of your personal details you want to keep private. You can skip the other initial prompts with as little action as possible. There’s nothing Strava will ask you
up front that you won’t be able to change later, and it’s more worthwhile to make those
decisions while learning to navigate the platform.
    4. JOIN THE GROUP
Now that you’ve explored the basic functions, it’s time to get started. We’re ready, are
you? Click the link in the email to join the Run Melbourne Strava Club.

How do I track my run (using Strava)?

There are three ways to track your runs using Strava:

    USING A FITNESS TRACKER
On the app, head to “Settings”, then “Applications, Services and Devices”, then Connect
a device to Strava. This will automatically upload your workouts after you save the
    activity to your watch.

USING THE STRAVA APP (no tracker)
Tap the Record tab in the app. The GPS on your smartphone will record the data, & once you’re done with your workout it will be uploaded to your activities when you hit save.

    MANUALLY
Choose the plus sign then select the manual entry option. From there, you can fill in as many details as you know, taken, for example, from a basic watch.

I don’t want to download Strava, how do I track and upload my run/results?

You can track your run manually and upload your results via the link that will be emailed to you.

You can also use your fitness tracker (e.g. Garmin Watch) and upload a link to your run from your device’s connected app (e.g. Garmin Connect).
